What Makes an Educator Excellent?
They hail from Anchorage, AL to Selma, TX, and 36 points in between. Although their specialties vary, their pursuit of excellence in education; their advocacy for the profession; and their dedication to their students is remarkably similar. They are lifelong learners, whose passion for knowledge is contagious.
It
is with great pride that the NEA Foundation presents the 2013 recipients of
the California Casualty Awards for Teaching Excellence. We thank them for their tireless efforts to inspire young
minds and, in doing so, to improve all of our futures. And we look forward to
celebrating them at our awards gala in
Washington, DC on Feb. 8, 2013.
Please
join us in congratulating these outstanding educators.
