Do you believe in the power of ideas? We do!

The NEA Foundation understands that the best way to help students learn is to help teachers teach. From bringing the alphabet to life with puppets, to showing students how germs spread, teachers have great ideas that are sure to inspire their students.

Too often teachers lack the resources to bring ideas like these to life. The NEA Foundation has partnered with to give teachers and their students a helping hand.

I have a project on Donor's Choose right now, but the NEA match doesn't come up. What do I need to do to have matching funds, or is it automatic when I get half the funds?

I have a project on that is less than $500. How do I get the matching funds?
October 24, 2011 @ 1:33 PM
@Lisa and @Karen: Congrats on your projects! Here's how to receive matching funds: 1. If you're an NEA Member but new to, you will need to register on and select "NEA" under "Teacher Affiliations." 2.) If you're an NEA Member and already registered as a teacher on, you must select "NEA" under "Update Affiliations" in your teacher account under "My School Info & Affiliations." You can find more info on our "New Opportunities" page under the Grants to Educators tab. Good luck!

I have a project up and just now added NEA. I've been a member for years but I never thought to look at affiliations before. Thank you so much for the heads up.

I am a member of NEA, I have just started with Donor's choose. I have had 1 project funded, one that is currently live and 2 under review. I listed NEA affiliation but have not had any match made from NEA.
