Why The NEA Foundation is Diving into Social Media

By Harriet Sanford, President & CEO

Do you hear that? It's the sound of thousands of educators discussing their problems, sharing ideas, and offering their opinions about what's working (and what isn't) in our public schools. These conversations are happening online every day particularly on Twitter, Facebook, blogs, discussion boards and even via video on YouTube.

As we dive headfirst into social media, we hope to learn from the educators and others who are passionate about innovation in our public schools.

We will be sharing more of our best stories, resources, and findings from our work and from the field. We're excited about getting started. You can find us on Facebook, Twitter, and please consider subscribing to this blog.
