Steve Sidel is President of Discovery Education, a division of Discovery Communications. Discovery Education is the nation's leading provider of broadband educational school services reaching 30 million American K-12 students.  Discovery Education's key products and services include, Discovery Education unitedstreaming, Discovery Science Connection, Discovery Health Connection, Discovery Education ThinkLink Assessment, Discovery Education OnePlace, and COSMEO, Discovery Education's new education website for home use.  

Mr. Sidel joined Discovery in 1997 as Director, Legal Affairs. In 1998, he was named Vice President, Legal Affairs and Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel in 2001.  Mr. Sidel was named Executive Vice President of Discovery Education in April 2004, when Discovery created the division. Mr. Sidel earned his J.D. at Harvard Law School and holds a B.A. in Political Science from Brown University.
