About this Grantee

Seaside Neighborhood School's “Waste Away!” Project will provide hands-on learning opportunities for students to become aware of the amount of trash they produce during lunch and to develop strategies for waste reduction.  Students will visit the local landfill to see local waste impact and the need to conserve and recycle.  This environmental education project will become a model for other schools in the district.
