C2i: Challenge to Innovate
What is C2i?
Through our work, we have learned that the best teaching ideas come from our greatest assets, educators. C2i is the product of that lesson.
C2i is a web-based, open invitation to public school educators and others to identify and solve education's most pressing classroom problems. For more information, please visit the Foundation's C2i page, or contact Jeff Howard at C2i@nea.org.
Gaming Challenge
How can interactive technology and game-based learning help students learn? In its latest Challenge to Innovate (C2i) initiative, the NEA Foundation has partnered with Microsoft–US Partners in Learning to encourage public school educators to explore, share, and discuss their responses to this question on the Department of Education's Open Innovation Portal. The best 10 ideas will receive $1,000 cash awards and recognition as their solutions will be shared with educators nationwide.
NEA Member Online Funding Opportunity
CURRENTLY CLOSED

Because of overwhelming demand, the NEA Foundation dollar match is no longer available. We encourage NEA members with great ideas for classroom projects to:
- Submit a project on DonorsChoose.org (without NEA Foundation dollar match).
- Apply for the Foundation's Grants to Educators.
- View more than 1,000 of our funded NEA member projects.
- Participate in our C2i challenge.
What is DonorsChoose.org?

DonorsChoose.org is an online charity that connects public school teachers in need of classroom materials and other learning needs to corporations, foundations, and everyday people who can help them. Submit a request for learning materials here. Also, feel free to view this tutorial about becoming a DonorsChoose.org teacher and posting projects on DonorsChoose.org.
