The NEA Foundation Institute provides the following services to participants:

Opportunities for Networking

The Institute will convene locals and districts at the Institute’s expense to enhance learning among the cohort and improve action planning and focus on teaching and learning issues.

• Web space for collaborative work
• Virtual meetings
• Face-to-face meetings

Content Expertise

• Direct access to and feedback from content experts, and structured learning activities to support the successful implementation of their action plans.
• Opportunities to participate in online and seminar sessions with content experts that will support the work of the team.
• Online resources and curriculum designed to both build the skills and capacity of those directly participating in their team’s Institute works and to assist them in building that capacity in their communities via a distributive model of training

Support for Action Plan

• Onsite technical assistance and coaching at the Institute’s expense on plan design, implementation and progress monitoring and leadership and organizational development.
• Facilitation at network gatherings and web-based interaction, including webinars to increase organizing capacity around teaching and learning issues.
