Senior Fellows Advisory Group

Globally recognized scholars and practitioners serve as members of the prestigious NEA Foundation Senior Fellows Advisory Group.

The NEA Foundation formally engages a variety of institutional partners to bring to bear expertise, knowledge and resources on closing the academic achievement gaps and increasing the life opportunities of traditionally underserved children in U.S. public schools.

Through its Senior Fellows Advisory Group, the Foundation brings broader and nationally recognized thought leadership to its programmatic efforts and philanthropic strategy to deepen and accelerate: its impact on systems supporting increased teaching effectiveness; and its impact on the quality and breadth of academic and nonacademic supports to students.

Areas of expertise and thought leadership represented in the group include: dynamics underlying the achievement gaps and general trends in addressing them; effective teaching and learning; cross-sector collaboration; and philanthropy and innovation.
