While there, Vaughan will participate in a learning seminar focusing on climate change and its effects on glaciers. Upon completion, Vaughan will share her learning with science teachers at her school, blog about her experience, and create a science toolkit for curriculum.

The work will culminate with a paper that will lay out ways to improve the methodology of how professional development is chosen and delivered.
To improve her visual arts instruction, Venable will attend the National Art Educators Association’s national convention.
