AT&T Foundation

AT&T

The AT&T Foundation's support for the NEA Foundation's Closing the Achievement Gaps Initiative builds on this work by funding efforts to increase STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) teaching and learning. This three-year, $300,000 partnership will address the lack of relevant and rigorous instruction in grades 8-12, which is vital to college and workforce preparedness. The NEA Foundation's Closing the Achievement Gaps Initiative is a large-scale pilot effort to close the achievement gaps between under-achieving low income and minority students and their higher achieving more affluent peers, while raising achievement for all students.
