Due to instructional inadequacies within 3rd, 4th and 5th grade math, the mathematics team, in collaboration with two mentor teachers, proposes creating a series of math workshops for team members and affiliated relevant staff to level the dissemination of math instruction and to emphasize content specified by district instructional standards.

The partners will implement the “Literacy Circle Program” for teachers and parents in support of improving learning acquisition for skills associated with reading comprehension. The project includes opportunities for parents and their children to discuss books, at evening sessions at the school.
