Mrs. Young will travel to Australia in a “Culture to Culture” experience to develop enticing, meaningful, and realistic learning opportunities for students needing intensive intervention at Bay Middle School. While there, she will gain a deeper understanding of Australian culture, compare man-made and natural points of interest, explore local government and economic systems, investigate educational settings, and video conference from an Australian class to Bay Middle School. Artifacts, chronicles, and online exchanges will empower Mrs. Young’s students as they virtually travel the world.
