Students will enhance their understanding of math and social science concepts by designing and fabricating ceramic tile quilts. The quilt murals will illustrate local social, cultural, and natural history, and will also link local events to social and cultural histories in other parts of the world. The tile quilts will be installed on the facade of Berkshire Trail Elementary School, which will allow students to share information and their artwork with the community.
