Mr. McFerren and Mr. Lee’s students will research issues relevant to Historically Black Colleges and Universities, including geographic locations, historic landmarks, museums, and prominent attractions. Students will study statistical data of past collegiate African Americans and compare it to the present to calculate predictions of future enrollment. The students will also visit Historically Black Colleges and Universities in three cities, write reflective journals, and create a video documentary depicting milestones in African American education.
