Schmidt and Miller will facilitate a study group of LaGuardia Community College faculty to examine the United States’ role in the world in the 20th century. The study group will address LaGuardia Community College’s Global Learning core competency by developing a more robust understanding of Global Learning. Specifically, the cohort will examine the growth of the U.S. as a world power, American economic expansion, and the cultural effects of U.S. global connections domestically and internationally.
