To expand her capacity to teach multicultural and culturally relevant pedagogy, Dr. McClean will attend the Mississippi Freedom Summer Conference. While there, Dr. McClean will attend seminars and present a paper on integrating themes of historical empowerment in classroom writing. Upon returning, Dr. McClean will share her experience with colleagues and use her knowledge to develop curriculum.
