To improve student reading and writing proficiency, educators at Bartlett High School and its feeder elementary and middle schools will implement the “Step Up to Writing” program as a school wide initiative. The cohesive writing program will provide students with a common set of skills and vocabulary to discuss reading and writing. Language arts educators initially trained in the program’s implementation will train educators in all other subject areas.
