Mrs. Ballot and Mrs. Smith will spearhead “Neighborhood Bridges,” a Children’s Theatre Company literacy program that empowers students to become the animators of their own lives. Skilled and experienced teaching artists will use animation to transform classrooms into communities where students think independently and work collectively. Each session during the project will include creative writing, storytelling, theater games, student-created scenes, and group discussions to inspire critical thinking.
