Through “Opening New Doors,” English language learners will travel beyond the school campus for vivid learning experiences that will make use of their cognitive capacities regardless of their level of English language proficiency. Students will learn about the culture, arts, geography, and natural history of their new home. The experiences will be fully integrated with English language arts and class content curricula, and will promote content learning and language development.
