The "Electrified" project will immerse students in the process of building and furnishing a new home. To prepare students for the twenty first century, the project will use critical thinking skills, promote the use of technology across curriculum areas, and encourage collaboration between the school and community. Students will create model homes using problem solving skills, use scientific inquiry to create a circuit which will successfully provide electricity for their homes, and use writing skills to advertise and sell their homes.
