Mrs. Walker will attend the Connecting the Mind, Brain and Education Institute on brain research at Harvard University. At the institute, Mrs. Walker will work with experts in the area of brain research to design and plan specific ways to use cutting edge research to improve classroom instruction. Upon completion of the institute, Mrs. Walker will lead a staff development session on brain activity at her school.
