Through Earth Expeditions, Mrs. Yoxthimer will embark on a ten day field assignment in the Valle de los Cirios Biological Reserve in Baja, Mexico. During the assignment, Mrs. Yoxthimer will learn about unique desert and marine flora and fauna, medicinal plants, endangered species, and specialized adaptations that help organisms survive in isolated environments. Additionally, Mrs. Yoxthimer will study the rich culture of the people of Bahia de Los Angeles.
