Ms. Kaplan will participate in the “Earth Expeditions Primate Conservation” course in Borneo and work with other educators to conduct field studies in an environment of extraordinary cultural and ecological diversity. Ms. Kaplan will learn to apply field methods to primate studies, work with researchers and conservation groups, and develop ways to engage communities in saving wildlife. Upon completing the course, Ms. Kaplan will share experiential knowledge to enhance student learning.
