Mrs. Grimble and Ms. Hines will study several books and professional articles on differentiated instruction for middle schools and will apply what they learn to lessons for the upcoming school year. They will share this information with the language arts department and adapt it for use by all grades. Teachers will be recorded while using the lessons, to review and discuss at study group meetings throughout the school year. The study group meetings will also offer opportunities for teachers to review literature on differentiation and collaborate on practical applications for differentiation strategies.
