Fourth and fifth grade science teachers at Colleen Bevis Elementary will participate in a seven week long collegial study group. The focus of the study group will be reading, discussing, and developing literature based science lessons using the book Picture Perfect Science Lessons, written by Karen Ansberry and Emily Morgan. Ms. Crosson and colleagues will use picture books as a way to engage teachers in an integrated study of various science topics, which they will then present to their students.
