Teachers and education support professionals in Alpena Public Schools and surrounding school districts will be trained in the curricular framework presented in Charlotte Danielson’s Enhancing Professional Practice. Staff will be trained in the Danielson rubric and will apply it throughout subject areas and grade levels. Educators will use what they’ve learned in the trainings to address school improvement initiatives, with the intent of improving student language arts and math scores on the Michigan Merit Exam.
