Ms. Bageant and Ms. Fyhrie will lead a collegial study through Spokane Public Schools’ Visual Thinking Strategies Writing Lab, which will focus on the implementation of Common Core State Standards. Through this method, students will examine art, peer-discuss, and write their thoughts. Educators will then choose anchor texts for students and encourage them to examine the signifiers of effective writing.
