To better communicate with an increasing Spanish speaking population at Potomac Senior High, Mr. Williams will travel to Guatemala to participate in The Casa Xelaju’s three week Spanish Immersion Program. The program will require five hours of daily classroom instruction using the curriculum of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. Additionally, Mr. Williams will live with a Guatemalan family and will participate in field trips to understand local cultures and customs.
