Mrs. Towne will develop a hands-on, face-to-face training program that will enable school nurses to prepare for mandatory online training properly. The program will be a training opportunity that will enable other nurses to correctly use their screening equipment, network with experienced colleagues, and share best practice, research, and resources. Mrs. Towne will present this training at a variety of venues easily accessible to school nurses throughout Vermont. Data gathered from these trainings will be shared at the Vermont State School Nurse Association’s 2012 meeting.
