Mr. Rickard and Ms. Hackney will introduce “Life in Pictures,” a project in which students will use a video camcorder and computer software to embed movies into photographs. Students will use the principles of photography, film, and journalism to create videos that will be included in the yearbook. The project will link to Common Core Language Arts Standards, as students will be tasked to integrate multiple sources, make strategic uses of digital media, and adapt speech variety to context.
