Through the “STEAM Room,” Mrs. Frovik and Mrs. Jensen will lead a professional learning community that will allow teachers at Glacier Hill Elementary to work collectively and collaboratively with their colleagues and with local experts in the disciplines of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. The team will focus on problem solving, inquiry, and higher order thinking as they create a space in which students will foster creativity, innovation, invention, and design. Upon completing the learning, educators will introduce the STEAM room and encourage students to problem solve, find creative solutions, and understand their ability to positively impact society.
