Mrs. McGinnis will participate in the Earthwatch Expedition, “Climate Change and Caterpillars in Arizona.” Working alongside a field ecologist, Mrs. McGinnis will learn to field protocols related to caterpillar identification, which she will apply to the development of inquiry based projects that will be incorporated in science classes at Arcola Intermediate School. Mrs. McGinnis will share her research in presentations to colleagues in the Arcola science department, the school board, and various local and state teacher associations.
