Ms. Stagner and Mrs. Adajian will offer students experiences in sustainable gardening and agriculture in the Intro to Sustainable Agriculture class. Goals of the project include linking science standards to the real life concerns of finding and growing healthy food, and improving student public speaking and communication skills through community outreach and education. Outcomes will be evaluated through use of pre and post course surveys of knowledge and attitudes towards sustainable agriculture, and formative and summative in class assessments.
