“Candidate Support Facilitator Jumpstart” will provide professional development for current National Board Certified Teachers who will serve as candidate support facilitators during the school year. The professional development will focus on supporting teacher candidates who are undergoing the national board certification process in the following areas: NBPTS Foundations, The Five Core Propositions, the Architecture of Accomplished Teaching, Overview of the New NBC Process, Components One Through Four, and Providing Effective Feedback for Candidates.
