Molly Ockett Middle School students will develop reading strategies, vocabulary skills, and nonfiction text awareness as they explore graphic novels.   Students will be connected in an extended network of learning collaboration with the use of Voicethread, an online space for group conversations about text and images.   Synthesizing their learning and knowledge, students will create nonfiction, digital graphic novels on topics of their choosing.
