To promote the use of inquiry and research-based science education by using the newly adopted Next Generation Science Standards, Mrs. Frost and Mrs. Holloway’s students will be using the STEMScopes curriculum and hands-on investigations to increase student achievement. Instruction will focus on problem-based learning, engineering challenges, scientific investigations, and math and literacy connections which promote a student-centered, tactile learning classroom for students to experience science. The work will promote student achievement through the use of experiential, inquiry-based learning.
