Through a two-week seminar in the summer of 2010, Mr. Bassham will learn creative ways in which to teach diatonic modes, functional harmony, creative movement, improvisation, barred percussion instruments, and the recorder to students. Mr. Bassham will also learn to compose songs, instrumental pieces, canons, and body percussion pieces in elemental form for ready use in the music classroom.
