Ms. Kelly will collaborate with Arpita Chatterjee, a licensed music educator in India, for a musical exchange that will inform both educators of the technical and cultural methods used in various forms of music. Ms. Kelly and Ms. Chatterjee will develop a pilot music and English language acquisition project using American folk music. Additionally, Ms. Chatterjee will assist Ms. Kelly in developing a music unit studying the musical styles of classical folk and Bollywood Indian music.
