Through a yearlong photographic memoir project, students will use cameras and journals to photograph, write about, and celebrate the important moments in their lives. By mixing written expression with photographic artistry, the project will foster progress in student writing techniques, figurative language development, and editing and revising processes. At the project’s conclusion, students will have independently produced impressive photography based, multi-genre personal memoirs.
