Public School 15, in collaboration with Brooklyn nonprofit Puppetry Arts, will host six puppetry workshops for fourth grade students during the 2010/2011 school year.  The workshops will help improve literacy and oral language skills of English Language Learners by linking language and content through puppetry and creative arts, focusing on Native Americans, the Revolutionary War, industrial growth, and state government.  The workshop will induce an integration of curriculums including research, writing, mapping, history, geography, visual arts, and speech.  A final performance will be shared with PS 15’s third and fifth grade students.
