Annette Garcia

Ms. Garcia and Mr. Gordon will lead a learning community that will institute a comprehensive program of professional development for the school’s entire math staff.  The program will have three components: 1) whole group professional development activities focusing on two independent math education resources; 2) independent or small group professional development focusing on teachers’ individual learning goals; and 3) a professional resources library to be used by all math staff members.  Participating elementary educators are expected to develop a deeper understanding of the representations and relationships of whole numbers.
