Students in the “Watershed Integrated Study Program (WISP)” at Eleanor Roosevelt High School will improve their ability to conduct scientific research by studying organic pollutants in local streams in Prince George’s County.  This group of twenty-eight will work with a college professor to test for a variety of chemical characteristics and conduct a macro invertebrate survey.  Each student will produce a research paper as well as present their findings at a Science Fair and Research Practicum Symposium.
