Through “Researching Habitats,” English Language Learners will be partnered with highly capable students for research and inquiry project-based learning. Students will observe small habitat enclosures within the classroom, explore habitats in their natural environments and at the local science center, and work with representatives from the local wildlife shelter. A family project and in-school presentation will connect research and writing to speaking and listening standards.
