Dr. Raymond Martens

Martens and Doyle will investigate children’s storying through “Storying Studio.” The project will be a re-conceptualization of writing workshops that value multi-modal composing, particularly in writing and art. A Literacy Community of teachers and teacher educators will meet monthly to discuss readings on multimodality and assessment, examine student work, and plan further professional development. Data will be analyzed and findings will be shared informally with colleagues and at conferences.
