Drs. Fullerton and Guardino will collaborate with teachers to reduce challenging behaviors in inclusive classrooms. Working collaboratively with six teachers in urban school settings, the group will redesign classrooms using research based modifications. Following the modifications, a workshop will be offered to teachers in the county to learn how to make similar changes in their classrooms. By presenting teachers with an intervention strategy to modify the classroom environment, the learning group will provide an important first step in emphasizing positive behavioral support.
