Frank Spina

Spina and colleagues at Robinson Elementary School will participate in a collaborative arts professional learning community, “Arts Come Alive!” (ACA), held at the Flynn Center for Performing Arts in Burlington, Vermont.  ACA is based on research substantiating the importance of the performing arts in learning and is comprised of a series of creative drama and movement exercises that have been proven to enrich reading skills.  The ACA method will effectively reach students with various learning styles, enable them to better express themselves verbally and nonverbally, and deepen their reading comprehension.
