Katherine Franssen

Mrs. Franssen and Mrs. Clarke will lead an action research program that will study the effectiveness of ALEKS and Khan Academy as online supplemental math interventions. The cohort will determine which supplement is the most effective in raising scores, causing growth, and promoting meaningful participation. The knowledge gained from the research will not only enable educators to target student interventions more effectively, but educate participants in the use of the action research approach to improve effectiveness in other areas.
