To foster an understanding of a diverse student body?s relationship with the planet and food, students will build a school garden and outdoor classroom. Native American, Karen, Hmong, Somali, Latino, Black, and White students and their families will have a space to form school and community partnerships through outdoor education on the school grounds. Family and community members will work with school staff to build an inviting green space that will become a vital part of the school?s science, health, and social studies courses.
