Lorraine Madden

Mrs. Madden will facilitate a language arts cohort of educators growing their practice of the Reading and Writing Workshop. The group will design individual action research projects, study how formative assessment informs instruction for small group and individual conferences, and identify reading and writing goals while monitoring and reporting the individual progress of students. The group will create and use educator toolkits to successfully support analysis and synthesis. Through study groups, Mrs. Madden and her colleagues will develop their capacity to engage as a professional learning community that deepens their practice in support of student learning.
