Sarah Ibson

Mrs. Ibson and six colleagues at Harwood Union Middle/High School will form a study group to explore interactive instructional strategies using iPads to improve engagement and academic performance. After an initial training, the group will research educational apps with a specific focus on math and literacy in the content areas and plan exploratory, interactive lessons. They will develop a shared resource of recommended iPad apps and other successful ways to use iPads in the classroom. The group, representing a range of disciplines and grades, will share their work with the school and present at Vermont’s annual educational technology conference, Dynamic Landscapes.
